Terms of Service
Last updated: July 9, 2026
Welcome to SnapView. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SnapView website and services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
SnapView provides a free, hosted snapshot server for the TradingView Advanced Charts library. When integrated, it receives chart snapshot images, stores them, and generates shareable links with rich social-media previews. The Service is provided free of charge.
2. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Upload or share any content that is unlawful, infringing, or violates the rights of others;
- Upload content that is not a chart snapshot or is otherwise abusive, harmful, or malicious;
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
- Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation.
We want SnapView to be dependable for everyone. To protect the Service and its users, we may remove content or restrict access in cases of abuse or violations of these Terms. We'll always try to act reasonably and proportionately.
3. Content and Ownership
You retain ownership of the snapshots you upload. By uploading content, you grant SnapView a limited license to store, host, and display that content for the purpose of operating the Service (including generating shareable pages and previews). Snapshots are accessible to anyone who has the generated link.
4. Availability and Changes
We're committed to keeping SnapView running and reliable, and we intend to keep your snapshots available for the long term. That said, as a free service we can't offer a formal uptime or retention guarantee, and we may occasionally need to update or improve the Service. If we ever need to make a significant change that affects stored snapshots, we'll aim to give reasonable notice where we can.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
We work hard to keep SnapView fast, secure, and reliable, and we genuinely want it to work well for you. At the same time, as a free service it is provided "as is" and "as available," and we can't make legal guarantees that it will always be uninterrupted or completely error-free. To the extent permitted by law, this means we don't provide warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnapView shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Because the Service is provided free of charge, your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using it.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes become effective when posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date above will be revised. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
